Re: Excel. The company has big bucks available from their IPO, since most stock held by the company and insiders. Excel is a fast-grower due to pyramid marketing scheme. In the past, Excel has leased lines from other providers with no guarantees. I think this will work out well for WCOM and Excel. Where does that put FTEL? Right in the middle of a very dynamic situation. I think it is safe to say that the communication technology is moving toward some kind of combined long-distance telephone/data/computer amalgam, which is right where FTEL's market lies. If they are up to the task, the stock could just explode.
