Here's my guess.

No news because:

1) phase 1 doesn't get anyone's attention, not much, nowadays
2) AIDS/HIV hasn't been easy to tackle
3) The trials are happening outside the US.
4) TGEN is less than $5.
5) The treatment is being developed to be deployed as a non-profit item.
6) Undoubtedly other stuff too.

Why I don't care:

1) Gotta go through phase 1 before they can get anywhere else.
2) Someone might tackle HIV with not just a treatment but an actual vaccine.
3) The trials are on humans and location in secondary.
4) TGEN's stock price is based on sentiment more than fundamentals. Sentiment can drive it over $5 very quickly.
5) It is a non-profit item outside the US but I think they have profit potential within the states and even if they didn't, the vindication of their technology would greatly increase the value of their intellectual property.
6) Undoubtedly other stuff too.
