"Push will come to shove when Hamas uses the truce to rebuild and Israel asks Abu Mazen what he intends to do about it."

Vesting the Pals with a stake in the future as opposed to rejectionism at some point would do more than blasting Hamas once again. There is great risk in this for the Israelis in accepting this. Hopefully one day Hamas, Hizbollah, Iran, and even Wahabis all will have to deal with the reality of a free Pal state desiring to live in peace because they have a stake in peace and prosperity. It has to cost them more to be rejectionsist than it is worth. US and Israel hopefully can make that so for the Pals by giving them entree into the 20th century prosperity. Mike
