Bush, IMHO, has handled this exactly right. Rather then COWTOWING to the Palestinians, he told them, until you get your act together I dont even want to talk to you. Realizing they had to SHAPE UP or SHIP OUT they finally are beginning to see the light, now that they are, he is offering them handholding AND economic assistance. They seem to be reacting favorable to it. jdn
