After all, this board was established nearly five years ago.
that doesn't mean the message is wrong, just that it's a poor basis for making trades due to unpredictable short-term noise. people were also bearish on the US stock market for five years before it lost $7 trillion in value. they looked foolish at best and went bankrupt if they followed their own advice.

but eventually, the market did come around to the fundamentals, as it always does. there's no reason to expect real estate to be any different.

Jeremy Grantham had a good analogy--if you stand on top of a tall building and empty a bag of feathers into the air, you can't predict when and where any feather will land due to air currents, etc. some of them might be wafted away to another state, even.

but gravity will inevitably cause them all to land eventually.
