Read some erudite and realistic responses to the flood after I originally posted this. It's still here but the last effort I'll make: Start a web site for your opinions. Your so into prevailing models: the prevailing model of self-publishing on the web is: (ta-da) the WEBSITE. Flooding threads with your opinions for the sake of seeing your own words in print is, politely put, onanism. It's akin to spamming and of as much value. I'm serious here, create your own web site w/statistics and links and cogent editorials and I will bookmark it and visit regularly. You could even come onto the thread and say, "Hey guys, I just put up a new set of Java benchmarks, check it out." Or whatever. Give it some thought, Dirk
