Hope no one minds if I intrude here with an ON-topic post. From Letters to the Editor at thestreet.com, the following clarification of comments made by ILT regarding Steve Pluvia.

<<snip>>"Steve sets up Laser Whitening Centers with dentists which includes
management of the whitening operations. The financial arrangements
between Steve and the dentists he works with are not the business of
ILT and, furthermore, we are not privy to those arrangements..."

Anette Powell, Investor Relations for ILT (received 9/2/97)

I was sure I had read somewhere back about 4 or 500 posts ago that he said he had no financial interest in promoting ILT or slamming Premier, but then they say your memory is the first thing to go, and I already forgot what the second thing is. Never mind, I don't think I want to know anyway. Bottom line, it looks like Stevie tried to do the holders of Premier a favor while at the same time helping himself a little into the bargain. Seems like this could have been a win-win situation, eh? Steve, didn't I tell you many days ago, "No good deed goes unpunished"? That's the Law of Unintended Consequences for ya.
