So your saying they do things BIG in TEXAS. haha. I am of the belief that the most PAINLESS way for us to get out of this mess is to HOLD THE LINE on spending and grow the economy as FAST AS WE CAN. Anything that helps to that end I am for. That means WORST CASE SCENARIO we only increase spending up to the inflation rate, many items in Bush's budget are well below that rate, so I approve it in theory. If Congress screws it up Bush has to decide whether to veto and cause major govt disruption and the effect it might have on the economy. Were I Bush I would TAKE NAMES and TELL ON EVERY CONGRESSMAN regardless of Party that blows the plan. jdn
