"I wonder if Karen will come back and claim she can't see the problem with that?"

I noticed that you declined to respond by articulating "the problem with that." Too chicken or too muddled to try to nail it? Much easier to just roll your eyes and throw it back at me.

Some of the suggestions for "the problem with that" that I've gleaned from reading the chatter are:

insulting the troops;
opening his mouth while a CNN employee;
un-journalistic behavior in making unproven accusations;
giving comfort to the enemy;
making CNN employee safety the primary focus;
expressing progressive anti-war views;
making anti-US statements;
making anti-military statements; and
daring to raise his head again after writing about the pre-war compromises he made to keep his Baghdad office open.

Is it one of those? Maybe if I give you a multiple choice question I can get an answer... <g>

When people do something wrong, the prosecutor has to specify a crime. Is it burglary or fraud or lewd and lacivious behavior? Is it manslaughter or murder? First or second degree or third degree? This is how we clarify and concentrate our thinking and determine a penalty. Eason's accuser's have not clarified nor concentrated their thinking. It's all been about pinning down what he actually said and about how various people were startled and offended by it. Some have talked about him resigning or being fired. What is the charge?
