Be clear who is on the two sides. Hamas does not represent the Palestinian people. An attack from Hamas is not an attack from the Palestinian people. If Israel pursues peace with the Palesinians, an attack from Hamas must not be allowed to become the reason to stop seeking peace. Every time you equate Hamas with the Palestinian people, you harm both Israel and the Palesinians while helping Hamas.
