Point Loma.....north or south of downtown? I know some liberals in La Jolla and Del Mar.

Your libs living way up north in Del Mar and La Jolla (recycled tourists I guess) must be quite well off. La Jolla is not cheap.

No one said all liberals are poor.

Point Loma is the peninsula just north of the bay. NW as seen from the airport.

Military compound?

Just kidding.

Today's San Diego is a buzzing city with great rush hour congestions due to the many people working for the high tech companies in the telecom and pharma sectors.
Sure the navy still has a big base there but that no longer is a dominating factor.

Yes, I know.......I lived in LA for a while.
