Taro, I always thought that true liberals were supposed to be less well off if not exactly poor.

There are many true liberals who are filthy rich. If you think about it, these are the people who can truly afford to be liberal.

Then again, all rich people ought to be "liberal." But of course, that all depends on what your definition of a "liberal" is.
