I think the terrorist that pull off large operations, or pull off operations on the other side of the world from their original home and/or from where they where trained tend to be more educated and from a wealthier background. Those that strap on a suicide bomber's vest or who grab a rifle and take a few pot shots at local civilians who they consider the enemy tend to not be so educated. Tim
