When I say a message is independent of the medium which conveys it, I mean that the materials used to send a message have no affect whatever on the content of the message. The medium itself makes a statement when it is used exclusively. The information of life on earth is conveyed exclusively in DNA. Any reasonlable creator could have conveyed it in many many ways, but it is only conveyed one way. That implies that a one-trick pony is at work. A creator may have a rich bag of tricks, but an inheritance only has what it has inherited. TP
