I live in Palm Beach County and this was in the local newspaper. Apparently they had very young looking Deputies go to HS as students, hang out awhile and start asking about drugs. I have mixed emotions about this. I know we DO have a drug problem in school, I have been told it even goes into the MIDDLE SCHOOLS. My nephew has an IQ of 147 which I guess is genius, yet he got into drugs and it nearly ruined his life. Kicked out of 3 colleges he finally was arrested. Ultimately they gave him two choices, either go to treatment and have his driving license suspended for 3 years or go to Prison. Obviously he took the former. He had to go to treatments AT HIS EXPENSE for 3 years and ride a bicycle then also. It straightened him out but he had the advantage of a strong family financially and emotionally. Anyhow, the bottom line is drugs in school are just AWFUL and even the best can get hooked. So, its kind of hard for me to have any pity on PUSHERS regardless of how they were caught. jdn
