We were discussing the fact that 'terminals' per se did not exist in 1970 I think you're right John. It's funny to think that 'terminals' and 'interactive' computers (ie computers that you didn't have to wait 24-48 hours for an answer as someone ran your punchcards) were a high-tech novelty only 30 years ago. Computing has really had a meteoric history... Derek
