A real downside to the whole online community thing is that your circle of friends is orders of magnitude larger and because the same statistics apply here that apply in real life, an inescapable result is a large number of friends who're no longer with us.

And Neocon is someone I remember as just always, you know, "being there". One of those ever-present cheerful faces you just get used to and enjoy always seeing.

I know he's going to be missed by many.
