Reid, Terry, other knowledgeable folks here==== Couple questions for when you have the time: Did you learn TA via books, trial and error, or how? Do you have an opinion on Pristine's system for short-term trades--not day trading? I'm sure they--like all of us--haven't found the Holy Grail. Yet I have heard some folks talk about doing well with them. I have enough market experience and know enough about TA to respect what they do, but also know enough about TA and the market generally not to accept blindly what anyone says or claims. Basically, what's your call on how well their 84--or however many it is--chart set-up formations work? Also, do you have experience with or opinions on systems like TC 2000, MetaStock, and Omni Trader, or others? I don't know about the last few years but think Stocks & Commodities magazine rated TC 2000 and MetaStock best in their respective classes for several years. I've heard some say they like TC 2000 and others say you get what you pay for and will do better with the more expensive ones. Of course, they all require a paid data feed, as far as I know. TIA====
