Dan; Does this suggest that SMU could be more volatile in the future; as these cost would not be smoothed out over time? All the startup cost one quarter; and all the profits another?

PHOENIX, Aug 7 (Reuter) - Simula Inc said on Wednesday that with the adoption of a new accounting method for precontract costs, it is restating........first quarter earnings....

The company said it will now expense as incurred, precontract costs which adapt existing products and technologies to the particular requirements of customers. These costs were previously capitalized and deferred to be
recovered over the revenue streams from these customers. As a result of this change there will be no future amortization of these costs.....
