I'm sorry if I'm sounding unsympathetic on this issue. That really isn't my usual leftist, empathetic style at all. You are right about erectile dysfunction having a larger impact on overall health. I am really concerned that we cannot afford the Medicare prescription benefit, and I guess it is a matter of priorities for me--some drugs definitely are life saving, and this one falls somewhere down the list from that. And of course there are all those comedy skits where the men are on Viagra and the women are not nearly as happy as the women in the Viagra ads, because they are being chased around by their men and are exhausted, really . . .
