I also think time is a perception. Until I was about forty it seemed to be going very slowly. I made a point of reading the paper every day from cover to cover (except sports), for example. Then one day I realized time was moving faster, and I had less time left than I had experienced, and started reevaluating how I wanted to spend it. An hour to read the paper every day seemed wasteful. Now every day is just racing by, faster and faster because there is less time left. A very perplexing phenomenon . . .
