I, too occupy the dot at the top of the apex. But I think I want to quarrel with your definition of Libertarians as leftists.

I want to define a "real" libertarian as one influenced by the Austrians, perhaps the Chicago boys, by the visions of a Murray. Years ago I was active, along with a tiny handful of other cranks, in the WA Pierce & King LP. At the State conventions I'd interact with a larger (hah!) crowd. The overwhelming majority of those I met fit my definition.

Unfortunately, it seems an odd collection of libertines and whackos get to define Libertarians in the popular conception. Witness Howard Stern running as a Libertarian.
