I can see a small jolt next week but I can't see it sticking and not below $170...and even that seems overdone to me, I'll say $180 bottom. The only justification people shorting have for GOOG is that the stock price is too high...and that's in absolute dollars that they are speaking.

If GOOG were a $50 right now with all the same financial ratios it carries now, no way this stock would be receiving the same attention. The high price tag on an absolute dollar basis is what has shorts drooling at mouth and will ultimately cause them to drown in their own saliva.

Like I've said in the past, shorts today can't differentiate between Google 2005 and VericalNet 2000...they look at the price tag and see one and the same.
