Wrong - the justification is millions of shares going up for sale Monday morning. I had my doubts about whether that would really pan out, but insiders just sold 800,000 in 48 hours in advance of their own employees, GOOG then tanked 16, and there have been multiple conversions from Class B to Class A shares where if those shares were not going to be sold immediately no point to do that because Class B shares have TEN TIMES the voting rights of Class A - we're talking well over 20 million shares converted, and 10 million of them distributed to investors yesterday in time for the mass sale on Monday. These reasons are good enough.

The only justification people shorting have for GOOG is that the stock price is too high...and that's in absolute dollars that they are speaking.
