Pakistan is not a hardcase, because they have a leader who is friendly to the U.S. Pakistan has a MILITARY DICTATOR, which I thought was a Bad Thing for Americans. His whose alliance with the US is pushing the populace towards religious fundamentalism as a reaction. There are terrorist camps in Pakistan. Musharraf has a feeble hold on what is going on in the country and the minute he is ousted, the way dictators eventually get ousted, Pakistan will probably become an overnight Islamist fundamentalist nuclear power. Oh my God......do you have to be so REAL! I've seen ole Mushie..........he looks like a real nice guy. Strong too....in a military sort of way. Their recently announce elections Oh how nice of them, wasn't it. I suppose you were talking about the municipal elections, for minor functions. The elections where women were not allowed to vote. And half of the municipal members will actually be placed in by the government. In other words, this "election" was a sham, a facade, probably suggested by their American friends so that they would look more sympathetic to the American people. There you go again. How do you expect us to stay in daNile with this kind of posting? Sure women didn't vote in the election but they didn't want to......trust me, Bush said so! ted
