Think of the Black Panthers circa 1960s Oakland. That is similar to Hamas in gaza. Panthers engaged in some violence. Hamas engages in much terror. Their main goal is to drive the jews from what now is Israel. Helping the poor souls in Gaza help them achieve their goal in their opinion and to some extent they probably are right.
