That's great Anna, thanks ... they'll need some real suction power to take material from around that water intake without getting sediment into the line ... not too great a trick, as long as you've got real horsepower hoovering up everything well after any cutterhead movement

Howie mentioned that 1999 business plan, well here's the blurb from it on Stanley Sandner, note how he was in on acquisition of both Las Brisas for Gold Reserve, and Las Cristinas for Placer ... The Vet might find the former interesting, as he is a big fan of GRZ [and for good reason, imho] -

' Stanley L. Sandner. A Canadian citizen and a resident of Venezuela for 23 years; has held senior positions in exploration and mining operations specializing in Latin American projects, particularly in Venezuela (gold and diamonds) and Peru (iron ore).

Highlights include:
-founder, in 1993, and director of CADRE since July 1995
-vice-president of exploration and acquisitions for Gold Reserve’s Venezuelan subsidiary, the Las Brisas gold property in southeastern Venezuela 1991 to mid-1994.
Stock value soared from $0.08 to $17.75 in 15 months.
-represented Placer Dome Inc. Venezuelan interests during 1989-91 which involved the acquisition and exploration of the Las Cristina copper-gold property in Km 88 area. Production development of this 14-18 million ounce gold deposit is amenable to open pit mining at a capital cost of US$700 million.
-one of the founders of Pegasus Gold Corp. and vice president during the mid-1970’s.
