Re: BLTI

I agree with Ray that the stock is still on the near term down trend coming from the Dec.15-Dec.16 double top at the 12.36 level.

The PSML data on it at present: P=9.91 S=9.58 M=9.71 L=9.76 and SAR=9.98 As you see P went over the S average line today, but the M & L averages as well as the SAR are above.

On its favor is the fact that the high volumes (Dec.13,14 & 15) as well as the more recent on Jan.13 have been to the upside, consistent with an accumulation pattern. The RSI has been rising since Feb.7 and is now up to 51.

From a FA standpoint, it reportedly has $1.59 in cash/share with no significant LTD, a current ratio of 4.56 and in spite of the reported loss in the last 3Qs and expected loss for the Dec.Q it is cash flow and FCF + (4.6M & 3.9M respectively.) The loss for 2004 is expected to be around $0.07/share vs. $0.33 on the black column in 2003.For 2005 it is expected for it to be back on the black around $0.20/share.

As you mentioned, the short position has increased and on Jan.15 was more than 7.3M or close to 30% of the float. Since the average volume for last 10 days is around 143Ks, at that rate it would take more than 50 days to cover.<g>
