Did whatever chores he was doing, kicked back, shaved, and told Mom that after dinner, they would need to go to the ER :-) Is there a problem here? :-) Me? I don't even go to docs; it's healthier that way. I MIGHT have survived had I not gone to the ER. Maybe. Maybe not too. I've got a chunk of what used to be cardiac muscle that is now scar tissue to show for that delay. You sure you want to stay away in circumstances like that? Remember Neocon? Who knows, maybe he woke up in the middle of the night with a hurting chest and decided it would wait till morning......
