Altruism is self-sacrifice. Murder, for whatever reason, is not self-sacrifice. Murder is committed upon one by another, not upon oneself. Last time I checked the history, Hitler murdered/sacrificed others.

To kill people on a mass scale, you have to justify it by doing it "for the good of the group."

Hitler committed murder motivated by eugenics and the welfare and primacy of the master race. It was not an act of self-sacrifice on the part of the victims. It wasn't even out of mercy for the victims, as in euthanasia. It was the murder of some groups for the benefit of other groups.
