I guess like Social Security, the public will just have to account for it themselves. Of course, if the media spent just a fraction of the time accounting for SS the way they account for Iraq, I'd be satisfied.

It's weird the way you seem to blame SS for the deficit, or the way it's reported, or something. Like the program itself is at fault for the shell game the government is playing with the budget. SS has been a bright spot; no corruption, low overhead cost, effective.

Yes "a fraction", but not a small fraction. "A fraction" just means it's less than more. Add that to private SS accounts and we have more than more... the Bush solution. When are you going to realize this guy isn't conservative?

The prescription drug benefit is all Bush's baby. You'll be paying for my drugs in 10-11 years. And you won't be able to negotiate quantity discounts.
