I cannot disagree with you on the sad history of denominations and the wars and abuse that they have inflicted upon mankind. However, associating with others of the same mind is called community of believers. The well being of people who associate with other believers cannot be understated as to the health and prosperity of the community as a whole.

A man who depends on his own initiatives and thinking is usually one thought away from rigidity and unwholesome thinking. I oughta know. I have been guilty of being too reclusive because I have been used and abused just as I am sure you have been also. Shalom seems out of character and I am worried about him, thats all. I know that I have disagreed with him on doctrine in the past but that does not put me at odds with him as a friend.
