Ted, Democrats Aren't Giving Bush a Break This Term

Democrats never did. Not even on Iraq. To pretend that they did would be to second-guess the circumstances preceding the invasion. And second-guessing is hardly a winning strategy.

Didn't give him a break on Iraq? My God, what in hell did you want? They gave him what amounts to a free ticket after he mislead to them. What I have learned is that the right's
understanding of what's fair, or what they consider giving someone a break is equivalent of the right saying "jump" and the other person saying "how high", or simply rolling over and playing dead. After all, its no surprise the right does not like opposition. IMO one of the reasons the Dems. lost this last election is because they catered to Bush far too much and were afraid to object to his nonsense.

Dean becoming the next McAuliffe is interesting to say the least. It could possibly lead to more internal strife among Democrats, leaving average liberals like yourself wondering if Rove was behind Dean's "rise to power."

Another example of the right's 24/7 carping. Again you all will not be happy until Rove is made head of the DNC. Then, and only then, will the DNC leadership make sense to the right........because then, the DNC will be totally complicit with the demands of the right.
