I did understand Ray, although I couldn't put any figures to it, it was no secret that Iran was much stronger than Iraq. Those comparitive figures you posted pale into insignificance when compared to U.S. military expenditures. Notwithstanding that, Iran could indeed sting the U.S., but the contest is unequal in the long run against "overwhelming force", which is and has been the U.S. military stance. Besides, the U.S./Israeli side possess the weapons that Iran covets. (Weapons of Mass Destruction)
