i listened to the conference call primarily to see how the filing misadventure would affect lyons' mindset. would he be as short and as arrogant as usual? or, perhaps, would he be somewhat contrite? after all, he did lose a critical 6 months.

i believe he used the word “mistake” once, as in “avoid future mistakes.” But, overall, he used phrases like “ did nothing wrong - - would do the same things over again”; “surprised by the fda response”; “ thought it met standards” and “ make it more user-friendly.”

say what? they produced a document that couldn’t navigate the links properly and it sounds like they took no responsibility for it.

i have no idea how someone would test the links in a 475,000 page document. nor, i believe, does he. an analyst did ask why we should believe you’ll get it right this time. the answer was: we’re putting 50 people in a room for a few months.

what should have been asked was: how did you test it last time (probably not too much) and how, specifically, will you test it this time? and if he really knew the answer, he probably would have stated it in his introductory remarks. seems like he learned very little from this fiasco.
