Bill Lyon would be wealthy if he sells out before the collapse. But this would be very contrary to his persona and past behavior.

But even at that, I don't know how much of Bill Lyon's ownership is actually his as opposed to the portion which is pledged to investors like The Blackstone Group. Much like the pride of ownership people take from living in their bank-owned home, except Lyon has pledged an equity share, as opposed to debt.
