Isnt that strange? Everything I have read about the SS debate ought to INCREASE consumer confidence. Example:
Lets presume the demcrats are right and their is NO CRISIS (those that presume that ought to be interested in swamp land in Fla.)--Well, if there is no crisis that should be reason to rejoice--shouldnt it?
Lets presume BUSH is right and some form of Privatization on a VOLUNTARY basis occurs--Well, I cant speak for others but to me, were I a young man I would be HAPPY AS HELL to have the chance TO OWN my VERY OWN RETIREMENT ACCOUNT and still have my IRA etc.--reason to rejoice--ISNT IT?

The ONLY reason I can see to adversely effect consumer confidence is to assume SS IS IN CRISIS and A MAJOR PAYROLL TAX INCREASE is coming or major reduction in benefits--Course THATS the DEMOCRAPIC WAY IS IT NOT? JDN
