Yes some might change but the vast majority will never it is just too much hassle.

As compared to the hassle of spyware, viruses, infrequent OS updates/upgrades that are delayed for years rather than months.

I suspect that for a significant number of people, the hassle of staying with Windows is becoming greater than the hassle of switching. Remember, it really only needs to be a relatively small -tiny really- proportion of Windows users in order to be way significant to Apple's market share numbers.
