I like this attitude/advice and seem to make better decisions when I keep emotion out of my trades. It's hard to do at times, but is achievable when my ultimate goals are revisited. I have another handicap, I trade in IRA's and cannot (or have no knowledge that proves otherwise) go short other than covered calls, which I write liberally when I see/feel a top.
