SOTK has exported products to the Far East RE: China Post article: Taiwan Stepping Up Development of Nanotechnology, Related Products 2005/2/13 TAIPEI, CNA Taiwan has stepped up development of nanotechnology and related products, according to industry sources. Since the government launched a special program to encourage nanotechnology development in 2002, more than 400 local companies have invested in commercial use of nanotechnology. By 2008, industry sources said, Taiwan's annual production of nanotechnology-related industries will reach NT$300 billion (US$9.68 billion).
