It seems you are blending the system of jurisprudence based on clear principle with cultural values and calling them both morality as if talking about one thing.

"When a group attempts to restrict the society morality to its own vision, it attacks the framework. When a group proposes an amendment to the framework that itself attacks the very basis of inalienable citizen rights, it attempts to undo the work of the founding fathers. When a group persistenting attacks judicial rulings that uphold the spirit of the framework, it shows no respect for the spirit of the founding fathers.

This paragraph is wrought with assumption that I don't necessarily disagree with but am a little leary of how you may be thinking it applies to this discussion. You should clarify that for me.

They demonstrate the same disregard for the American way of life as our enemies, and play right into their hands."

Is this the criticism you were alluding too regarding neocons and extreme religious types? If so, you are going to have to spell it out for me ... I am not sure I am up to speed on this, sorry.
