Suma, do you really think that every lunatic rant deserves respectful treatment? For example, are those who so often equate Bush to Hitler really, in your mind, making a reasoned point rather than speaking from hatred? What you don't seem to understand is that calling Bush-haters what they are and ridiculing their irrational rants is NOT the same thing as depriving them of their right to speak their minds. Their is nothing fascist about it. THIS ARGUMENT COULD BE SOLVED IF PEOPLE LINKED THEIR INFO. In fact, I'd suggest that your insistence that they must be heard, no matter how virulent their rant, while any response that attacks the virulence of the rant or the underlying hatred driving it is unacceptable is a much more fascistic position to take. ARE THE RANTS REALLY RANTS OR DO THEY CONTAIN SOMETHING OF SUBSTANCE.. DO POSTERS REALLY GET ON THESE SITES AND SAY I HATE BUSH I HATE BUSH I HATE ROVE ETC ? Look at it this way, Suma - if some group of white supremacists is marching down the street in their robes and hoods, shouting racial slurs and threats, is one who yells "Racist bastards, get off our streets!!!" a "fascist" for doing so? By your argument, they must be. I KNOW YOU WANT TO MAKE A POINT HERE BUT I THINK THERE IS A DISCREPANCY BETWEEN SHOUTING ON THE STREETS AND BEING ON A POLITICAL BOARD WHERE WE SHARING INFORMATION GLEANED FROM DIFFERENT SOURCES (AMAZING HOW DIFFER NT IT ALL CAN BE TOO ISN'T IT.) MAKING ARGUMENTS TO SUPPORT OUR POINT OF VIEW AND IN SOME CASES TRYING TO CHANGE ANOTHER'S OPINION OR BIASES... BY THE WAY, I APOLOGIZE FOR THE CAPITALS. IT'S NOT TO MAKE A POINT. TELL ME HOW TO ITALICIZE. WHERE IN FORMATTING DOES ONT DO THAT. I AM NOT GREAT ON COMPUTER LITERACY.
