Yes, they are clearly facing a huge headwind. The dealers (Boyz) can't support the system without a lot of foreign custodials support and heavy handed and aggressive Fed intervention and monetization. Since that's been lacking of late, it's been a lot of patchwork and dyke thumbing mostly by the Boyz. The question is are the Wizards really changing their spots? In principle I say no, but we can't be too entrenched in dogma on this.

I think this Wallstreetexaminer.com came along at just the right juncture, at least for me. It's a new set of eyes on the situation, that I really needed. It was obvious to me that the post-Dec 8th liquidity withdrawal was going on, but how does one look for the return of Uncle Ernie? These assholes have so many backdoor tricks up their sleeves that even an alert observer has a tough time with their games of euchre.

Here is Alder with a great description of how the Boyz leverage and front run the Wizards and system, taking advantage of every little stash that lays around even for short periods of time. Then like Audrey they go back to Seymour asking for even more:
