I can. I don't think it's realistic to assume that it hasn't happened from the fact, assuming it's a fact, that the brass hasn't taken action against it. Part of my reasoning in arguing that we can't know for sure that it hasn't happened is that, if you did murder a journalist, you sure wouldn't report that to the brass. And you wouldn't let it become widely known. You would frame it as mistake in the fog of war. Surely someone who would murder a journalist wouldn't feel obligated to fess up.

I don't think that the lack of actions against journalist murderers informs this question at all.
