Some very localized and limited data on WP8 sales for the month of August:

washingtonpost.com

Anyone notice how Corel is really tight lipped over the retail performance of WP8 for the month of June of July. Last year they really made a big deal when WP7 was outperforming Office 95. This year we have WP8 outperforming red hot Office 97 Standard and Professional, and not even a whisper from Cowpland.

Based on the June and July performance of WP8, the momentum should carry into August.

I say an earnings surprise is in the works.
