My staff met with the son, Jonathan Medved's, comapny (I believe it was), when he led up an outfit in California known as Merit. They were affiliated with one of Amoco's technology investments at the time, specializing in optical transport systems, mostly AM/FM over multimode, used by trading desk video applications, air traffic control, and the like. We wound up specking them into a trading floor design for Salomon Bros at 7 WTC back in 1990-1, but lost out to someone else. I suspect you're referring to the senior Medved, though. Correct? Would that be David? Or, do I have the names turned upside down again? This feels like deja vu. Have we had this discussion before? FAC
