You can swarm all over a false or unreasonable statement with truth and logic and reasonable thought (the swarm just being the fact that multiple sources are making the counter-argument at the same time or in rapid succession), or you can swarm with personal attacks, hatred, and blind adherence to partisan political (or perhaps racial or religious) identity.
