Even in the Bay Area it isn't that easy to find restaurants with organic food so you might be comparing apples and oranges.

Clearly organic grocery stores (Wild Oats, Wholefoods) have raised prices significantly and even excellent shopping skills will yield only limited improvements unless quality adjustments can be made likely to non organic and that is not an option with me.
