People are beginning to outsource their elective surgery.

Heard this report last night.

The main hospital in Thailand is becoming the county's number one tourist destination. Americans are going to Thailand for elective surgery. One woman said a "tummy tuck" in US costs 20K. In Thailand she got the tummy tuck and a boob job for 7K including meds.

A guy with no health insurance had a knee replacement for 5K which included a week of rehab and hospital stay. He said in US he's looking at 25K.

Insurance companies are looking at lower premiums for people who would agree to go outside country for electives.

Several American doctors have moved to Thailand.
