The operative word here is intelligently. Obviously the young man consented to it. As far as I know there was no rape involved, and I'm wondering if it's possible for a woman to rape a man...I know some claim it to be possible.

I know that when I was 12, I certainly had interest in girls. I had to use the notebook to hide the big woody many times. ;^)

There would have been very little coersion required by some of my foxy teachers.

Now is it right for a woman to have sex with a 12 year old? No it's not...that's why we have laws against that...to protect the minor. I know that if one of those foxy young teachers offered it up to me when I was 12 it would have been a done deal, the law be damned. Unfortunately for me all my teachers were law abiding sorts. ;^)
